- Private Weather Diary kept by Miss Caroline Molesworth with published summaries by Eleanor Ormerod (first lady FRMS).Observations twice a day of pressure, temperature, clouds, wind direction, rainfall and general weather remarks. Also additional notes including detailed phenological observations on animals and plants. Box 55 includes tables of daily and monthly rainfall totals for the period. The published volumes (box 54) give monthly summaries and tables of data with some of the phenological observations included with the monthly summaries.
