Description:
- Second radiosonde to be designed by the Met Office. A small radio transmitter, carried upwards by a balloon, by means of which measurements of wind, pressure, temperature and humidity may be obtained from the upper atmosphere. 3-cup windmill operated a switch to select each sensor in turn as only one signal could be transmitted at once. Powered by a water activated battery. Balloon and parachute holder clipped onto the main body. Met Ref 10092.
