- Climatological returns for Southport, Observatory, Lancashire (DCnn: 7223, 7222 from June'87. Replaced by 7206), latitude 53 degrees 39 minutes N, longitude 2 degrees 59 minutes W, January 1921 to December 1925 contains 9AM, 3PM, 5PM & 9PM (exact observations and variables recorded at observations do vary) pressure, temperature, humidity, vapour pressure, wind (to August 1921), cloud, visibility (from January 1922), weather, earth temperatures (9AM) and daily rainfall, sunshine, maximum temperature, minimum temperature, maximum temperature in sun, grass minimum temperature and some weather symbols/remarks. From June 1923, layout of data changed to separate pages for 9AM, 3AM, 5PM & 9PM and a monthly summary (including frequency analysis, means and extremes) but content mainly unchanged.
