- Ships meteorological Log for ship 'Swarthmore' for voyage from Liverpool to Bombay 16th October 1855 - 14th February 1856 giving latitude, longitude, currents, pressure, temperature, winds clouds ,weather and sea state observed at 0400, 0900, 1200, 1500 and 2000hrs. Sea state only given at 1200. Remarks cover notable changes in instruments, variation in the compass, sightings of meteors 4th September, describes waterspout with sketches 8th September.
