Description:
  • Pages 1 and 4: Tables of selected UK Stations containing reports for 0000, 0600, 1200 and 1800. Elements reported: pressure, wind, weather, temperature, humidity, visibility, cloud, sea disturbance and state of ground. Also weather for past 24hrs including daily maximum temperature, minimum temperature rainfall and sunshine and ship observations. Page 2: Northern Hemisphere Chart. Page 3: 3x charts of UK and Surrounding Area - 0000, 0600 'today' and 1800 'yesterday' and general inference and further outlook. 4 page Monthly summary 4 provides general monthly summary and data. Page 4 contains depiction of variation in pressure from Iceland to the Gulf of Lyons. From January 1956 Monthly Summary reduced to 2 pages and depiction of variation in pressure dropped. From January 1958 only Ocean Weather Ships included in ship observations. From 1 March 1960 observations given in code on pages 1 and 4.
