Description:
- This is a model of the FAAM BAe 146-301 aircraft. In 2001 the Facility for Airborne Atmospheric Measurements (FAAM) was established as a joint Met Office and National Environmental Research Council (NERC) facility. This aircraft came into service in 2004 and is used for a range of atmospheric measurements, it is the UK's primary atmospheric research aircraft. Its home base is at Cranfield University, Bedfordshire. This aircraft has a white fuselage and wings, with the engines painted blue with blue accents on the tail. It has lettering on the fuselage of Atmospheric Research Aircraft and on the tail painted in white lettering is FAAM. The base is wooden and the stand is metal.
