Description:
  • Made by the company Munro, London. This wind speed dial mark II gives the wind speed in knots of the attached anemometer (not attached here). It contains a rectifier type moving coil a.c. Voltmeter movement. The face of the instrument is white with the scale in black. The centre has the Met Reference 996, Mark II. Towards the bottom of the face is the makers name and the serial number 4966/109. The case is black with the dial visible through a clear glass circular window at the top. At the centre of the window is a metal disc with Zero set on it.
