Description:
- Made by Casella of London. This clockwork aspirated psychrometer is used to measure humidity. It consists of two ducts that contain the Assmann type thermometers and a detachable motor driven fan in a polished chrome case, which is wound up using the keys provided. The clockwork motor runs for at least 10 minutes when wound up. It has a grey painted wooden box with a metal plate with the makers name, Casella, London, serial number MO1133/71. The Meteorological Office MO logo and the reference number MET1709. It has a leather strap handle and metal fasteners.
